EOC Facilities:

The EOC’s Northpointe Facility, located 28 miles North of Pittsburgh, features fifteen technical laboratories providing over 15,000 square feet of research space dedicated to the departments and groups located in the facility. The building also features two conference rooms and a classroom capable of holding in excess of 150 people in an unclassified setting. Northpointe serves as the home of the Center’s administrative functions as well as research.

The EOC Materials Division is located in a 12,500 square foot facility located approximately 4 miles south of the EOC Headquarters. The facility contains office space, a conference room and a number of laboratories used for Crystal Growth, Processing and Materials Characterization.

The Payload Development Center, a 60’x 60’ heated hangar, features a well-equipped electronics laboratory; a machine shop to facilitate aircraft equipment integration; auxiliary power supplies to provide for ground testing of equipment after installation in the aircraft and an EO/IR camera characterization/calibration laboratory.
